1. Agreement to These Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Court Crew mobile application ("App") or accessing the Court Crew website at courtcrew.co ("Website"), you ("User", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Lovro Predovan ("Court Crew", "we", "us").

If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the App and Website and uninstall the App from all your devices.

These Terms apply to all versions of the App, including updates and upgrades released after the effective date above.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Court Crew. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher), you must have the express consent of a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. Description of Service

Court Crew is a mobile application and web service that provides sports referees with tools to:

  • Schedule and log matches, including teams, competitions, locations, and dates
  • Track match fees and travel expenses per match
  • Invite co-referees to match crews and coordinate via per-match chat
  • View career statistics and earnings history
  • Export matches to Google Calendar
  • Upload and store photos associated with matches

Court Crew is a personal organisation tool for individual referees. It is not an officiating appointment service, a referee registration authority, a payment processing platform, or an official tool of any sports federation, association, or governing body. Any match fee amounts recorded in the App are self-reported by you and are not verified by Court Crew.

4. Account Registration

4.1 Account Creation

You may register using a valid email address and password, or via Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it to keep it accurate. You may hold only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

4.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised use. Court Crew will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your credentials.

4.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the App, or by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data — matches, fees, photos, crew connections, and chat history — will be permanently erased within 30 days of deletion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Court Crew only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or automated messages to other users
  • Upload or distribute malicious code, viruses, or software designed to damage or intercept data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any server, system, or account connected to the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App or API by automated means without written permission
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Post or share content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or violates the rights of any third party
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its infrastructure
  • Circumvent any technical measures we use to restrict access to certain features

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you submit, including match data, fee information, photos, chat messages, and notes ("User Content"). Court Crew does not claim ownership of your data.

6.2 Licence to Court Crew

By submitting User Content you grant Court Crew a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the Service for you. This licence terminates upon deletion of the content or deletion of your account.

6.3 Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. You must not upload content you do not have the right to share. Court Crew does not review User Content prior to publication and is not liable for any User Content.

6.4 Content Removal

Court Crew reserves the right — but not the obligation — to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or that we determine in our sole discretion to be harmful, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

7. Intellectual Property

The Court Crew name, logo, App design, source code, original content (excluding User Content), and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Lovro Predovan and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the App or Website without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Court Crew integrates with the following third-party services: Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, Google Maps Platform, Amazon S3, DigitalOcean, and Brevo email. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Court Crew is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

Specifically: Google Calendar integration requires granting Court Crew permission to create calendar events. Court Crew will only create events you explicitly request to export. Revoking this permission within your Google Account settings will prevent future calendar exports but will not affect data stored in Court Crew.

9. Pricing and Payments

Court Crew is currently available free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features ("Pro tier") in the future. Any transition to paid features will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Free features available at the time of any pricing change will remain accessible at the tier they were introduced, unless otherwise stated.

Any in-app purchases will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective billing terms. Court Crew does not process payments directly. Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Apple or Google's refund policies.

10. Fee Tracking Disclaimer

The fee and earnings tracking features in Court Crew are personal record-keeping tools. Match fee amounts are entered by you and are not verified by Court Crew. Court Crew does not process, hold, or transfer any money. Court Crew is not responsible for any discrepancy between amounts recorded in the App and amounts actually paid or received. You are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records independently of Court Crew for tax and accounting purposes.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and governs our collection, use, and protection of your personal data. By using Court Crew you agree to the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time as described in Section 4.3.

12.2 Termination by Court Crew

We may suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice or liability, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or caused harm to other users or the service. In cases of serious violation, termination is immediate. For lesser violations we will attempt to provide notice.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

13. Service Availability

Court Crew is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, updates, or to address security concerns. We may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice — generally 30 days — during which you can export your data.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS. COURT CREW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM INTERRUPTION. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Court Crew is a personal tool for individual referees. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any sports federation, governing body, referee association, or employer. Any data you enter (including fee amounts, match outcomes, and career statistics) is self-reported and unverified.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COURT CREW, LOVRO PREDOVAN, OR ANY ASSOCIATED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF EARNINGS RECORDS, LOSS OF CAREER DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COURT CREW IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR EUR 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. IF THE SERVICE WAS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS EUR 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Court Crew and Lovro Predovan from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email to the address associated with your account and/or via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia (where applicable under EU consumer law, EU member state law may apply). For users in the European Economic Area, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence shall also apply.

If you have a dispute with Court Crew, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 60 days, either party may pursue remedies through applicable courts or, where available, through the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

19. Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Court Crew regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
